Safety is our first priority.  Our instructions to ambulette operators are very clear....we will not, under any circumstances, compromise safety.

Sound Shore Ambulette meets New York State safety regulations.  Our ambulette operators are carefully screened.  We hire operators only with clean driving records and they are Article-19A certified.  We offer incentive packages to operators to maintain their driving record.

Operators are trained and tested in driving skills, and as well as in the proper handling of wheelchair bound patients.  They are given special instructions to provide physical assistance in and out of the vehicle.
